Everyday People ("Everyday People," or "We") genuinely care about and respect your privacy, we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy when you visit our website at www.everydaypeoplesourcing.co.uk (“Site”), or access any Services (defined in the next paragraph).

Everyday People offer various services ("Services") to provide businesses and individual’s access to a collection of resources related to the support of freelancers and small businesses including (without limitation), events, blogs, newsletters, user-generated content and surveys.

  • ◊ When you visit the site, register to become a member, tell us about a project (Project Owner) or sign up to our newsletter.
  • ◊ In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Everyday People
  • ◊ From third parties, including partners (eg Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Stripe).

2. How we collect the data

This privacy policy describes:

  • ◊ From third parties, when you provide it to them, for example, our business partners and third-party service providers who we believe are reputable and in good faith are providing or sharing with us data in compliance with applicable laws or with whom you have authorised either these third parties or us or both to collect and use the data. (eg Eventbrite, Stripe, Mailchimp).

3. Data we collect about you

Information collected includes:

◊ References on your work from previous clients, whose details you have supplied as well as clients introduced to you via Everyday People. This information will be shared with project owners when you submit an application. Members can not access this information via the profile page, however can ask us for this information, if it has been updated.
◊ Membership subscription data that is stored privately and securely by Stripe.
◊ Information about a project you have supplied. This information will be shared with members of Everyday People who we feel would be suitable for the job.

4. Infotmation you provide to us

The information we collect on or through our Site or Services may include::

◊ Information you provide when submitting a project application.
◊ Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
◊ Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
◊ You also may provide information to be published, displayed, or transmitted ("posted") on public areas of the Site, or transmitted to other users of the Site or third parties (collectively, "Interactive Content"). Your Interactive Content is posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk; we cannot control the actions of other users of the Site with whom you may choose to share your Interactive Content.

As you navigate through and interact with our Site and Services, via Google Analytics we automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including without limitation:
◊ Details of your visits to our Site, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Site.
◊ Information about your computer and Internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

We will not identify you using this information

◊ To provide you with notices about your subscriptions to the Services, including expiration and renewal notices.

◊ For any other purpose related to finding Members work and finding Members for Projects.


We never sell your personal information or provide it to others for their own and exclusive marketing purposes.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy as follows:

◊ We share your information collected via the Site with people seeking your services (Project Owners) and those offering you services (Members).
◊ We share your personal information with third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems These third parties comply with similar and equally protective undertakings of privacy and confidentiality.

7. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

Members review and change some of their personal information by logging into the Site and visiting the account profile page.

You may also send us an email sam@everydaypeoplesourcing.co.uk to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. In some cases, we cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account.

If we delete your Interactive Content from the Site, copies of your Interactive Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of the Site.

8. What are your rights?


You have a number of rights when it comes to your personal information/Personal Data.

1. The right to object to processing

You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing (i.e. if you no longer want to be contacted with potential opportunities).

For instance, we may retain your data as necessary to meet our legal obligations, such as for tax and accounting purposes.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.
